Welcome to WinnebagoLife

We call it GoLife for short

For over fifty years Winnebago has been an innovator in the recreational vehicle industry and we’re continuing that tradition with a lifestyle web site that celebrates the lively diversity of our company and its customers.  Every month you’ll find new articles and ideas that you won’t see elsewhere on the Internet or in magazines.  You’ll read stories through the eyes of fellow Winnebago owners and get behind the scenes insights from the talented team who designs our motorhomes and towables.

But RVs quickly became a much bigger part of their lives as they started their blog The Fit RV (www.thefitrv.com), where they work to encourage a more healthy and active style of RVing. • Suzanne Anthony

    Suzanne Anthony

My life has been a constant metamorphosis of sorts, always morphing into a new stage in a new place. I have had an incurable case of wanderlust since I was a kid growing up with parents who loved to road trip on a minute’s notice. I have been blessed to see some amazing places on this beautiful planet, so I decided I would like to have a place to share these experiences. I am living out my dream as a full time RVing 9 to 5’er, still hanging on to the “golden handcuffs” for a little longer. As a telecommuter, I figured “If I can do my job anywhere, why not do it everywhere?” So I sold my 3 bedroom home along with everything in it that was not nailed down, bought my Winnie View, and hit the road in March, 2013. The nomadic life suits me even more than I had hoped.

  • Jordan & Brittany Griggs

    Jordan & Brittany Griggs

Jordan Griggs is former banker turned golf blogger, who risked it all to pursue his dreams. After working 7 years for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the fast-paced capital markets, Jordan traded his brogues for golf spikes and set-out on a journey to create a life around his true passion: golf. After competing briefly on professional golf mini tours, Jordan and his wife Brittany decided to marry their passions for golf and photography to create The Dapper Drive, a golf and lifestyle brand dedicated to sharing the unique stories of great golf courses and golf brands, and providing a behind the scenes look at life on the road as full-time travelers. He and Brittany, the brand’s professional photographer and owner of her own online business (Simply For Creatives), travel full-time in their Winnebago View with their dog Ella and cat Mr. P. They’re currently traveling across America on a project they’ve dubbed the Ultimate Golf Road Trip – a quest to play each of Golf Digest’s ranked America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses in calendar year 2017. Jordan and Brittany hope that through sharing these experiences, stories and adventures in the world of golf and travel, they can inspire and encourage others to chase their dreams, pursue their passions and refuse to settle for anything less. • Brooke & Buddy Baum

    Brooke & Buddy Baum

After playing by the rules and hating it, the Baums decided to start doing things their own way. This meant exchanging their well-paying jobs, vacation time and safe suburban existence for a life on the road with no time restrictions and lots of unknowns. With only their beloved cat Sugar and a few necessities, Brooke and Buddy started their journey as full-time RVers at the end of March 2017 in a brand-new Winnebago View. Not only will this lifestyle help them keep to their very limited budget as Brooke pursues freelance writing and Buddy builds a photography business, it also allows them to do what they love every single day: spend time outside together while inspiring others to do the same! Aside from that, they don't really have a plan. But they believe kindness, faith and determination will get them where they need to go. And luckily, after a decade of practice, they are experts at just winging it. You can follow along with their travels, outdoor adventures and what are sure to be some hilarious mishaps at TrailingAway.com.

They write about things to do with kids at the destinations they visit, full time family travel and working from the road at www.crazyfamilyadventure.com. In order to fund their travels they started a business www.VirtualPowerhouse.com where Bryanna does social media, blogging and newsletters for small businesses and Craig does website design. • David & Karen Toste

    David & Karen Toste

As a family of four who live and work in Silicon Valley, life can move pretty fast. Between work meetings, school activities, Target runs, birthday parties, and other arbitrary errands, Karen and David started to feel like they were always en route to something and not really living in the moment. Last year, they decided it was time to slow down. Both Karen and David are second generation RVers who grew up traveling in Winnebagos when they were kids. They recalled great memories of family road trips and campsite adventures and wanted these same experiences for their children. In January 2016, they invested in their own Winnebago Vista and began their family adventures. While they are not full-time RVers, they are an example of how the RV lifestyle can be perfect for families who desire exploration and togetherness. You can follow their family’s adventures at thecampingplaylist.com.

  • Kenny & Sabrina Phillips

    Kenny & Sabrina Phillips

Kenny and Sabrina are new to the RV life style. Sabrina is a traveling physician who works across the country at different hospitals. They needed a change in their lifestyle that would allow them to spend more time together. Kenny owned a small business in their hometown and they decided to sell the business so they could purchase and move into an RV. This now gives them the ability to travel together moving from state to state for Sabrina’s work. Kenny does freelance work from the road and has completed the NRVIA inspection course and plans on starting a mobile RV inspection business.
