Welcome to WinnebagoLife

Welcome to WinnebagoLife

We call it GoLife for short

For over sixty years Winnebago has been an innovator in the recreational vehicle industry and we’re continuing that tradition with a lifestyle web site that celebrates the lively diversity of our company and its customers.  Every month you’ll find new articles and ideas that you won’t see elsewhere on the Internet or in magazines.  You’ll read stories through the eyes of fellow Winnebago owners and get behind the scenes insights from the talented team who designs our motorhomes and towables.

  • Brooke Baum

    Brooke Baum

Brooke and her husband Buddy are digital nomads and full-time travelers. They began their journey in early 2017 in a handsome Winnebago View named Vik, and quickly became very embedded in the RVing community. In addition to Brooke's role as GoLife Editor, the Baums also share their travel stories and insights on their blog, TrailingAway.com, as well as in various other publications (Brooke writes & Buddy takes all the gorgeous photos). They love to be outside, explore new places, and spend quality time with their family, friends, and ever-growing community of fellow travelers.

  • James & Stef Adinaro

    James & Stef Adinaro

    Brand Ambassadors

James and Stefany Adinaro didn’t set out to be RVers. They purchased their first RV to use at cycling events for one reason…the bathroom. But RVs quickly became a much bigger part of their lives as they started their blog The Fit RV (www.thefitrv.com), where they work to encourage a more healthy and active style of RVing. By day, James works in IT and Stef works in the fitness industry. When they’re not on the road, you can find them taking advantage of outdoor opportunities in their home state of Utah.

  • Peter & Kathy Holcombe

    Peter & Kathy Holcombe

    Brand Ambassadors

Peter and Kathy Holcombe are photographers, writers and parents. In 2014, along with their ten year old daughter, Abby, they made a life leap that many will admire, but few will take: they sold their home in Boulder, Colorado and took to the highways of North America, traveling full time in their Winnebago View. The Holcombe family is equally at home on smooth asphalt highways as they are on frothy whitewater rapids. Throughout their travels they’ll be sharing adventures as diverse as paddling through the sandstone canyons of the Colorado River, to navigating the New York harbor waters around the Statue of Liberty.

  • Alan Heymann

    Alan Heymann

Alan and his wife, Lindy, had originally thought of retiring early and traveling the country in a small RV. Their bright red Travato, Roxanne, comes in handy for family visits and camping trips. They are a young and multicultural family who follows a plant-based diet at home and on the road. Alan and Lindy live outside Washington, DC, with their daughter and their dog. You can follow their adventures at chasingminimalism.com.

  • Ann & Lin Bishop

    Ann & Lin Bishop

Native Houstonians and recent newlyweds, Ann and Lin realized life was too short to continue to pursue the traditional “American Dream.” The big house and white picket fence was no longer important to them. Puzzled with the question of how they could both retire within the same year and at the same age (50), they realized living full time in an RV was the answer. A year later, they packed their downsized lives and three dogs (Brady, Abby, and Wally) into their new Winnebago Forza and headed out to explore the country. You can follow their journey and their love for helping other fellow RVers stay physically and financially fit on the road at www.rvfitchicks.com.

They have previously lived in both Class A & C RVs, but are currently in a Winnebago Micro Minnie travel trailer. If they aren’t out climbing mountains, hiking to a waterfall or playing at the beach, they are most likely at the local donut shop trying to find the best donuts in the U.S.! They write about things to do with kids at the destinations they visit, full-time family travel and working from the road at crazyfamilyadventure.com. In order to fund their travels, they also started a business (VirtualPowerhouse.com) where Bryanna does Pinterest, social media, blogging and eMail Marketing for small businesses and Craig does website design.

  • David & Karen Toste

    David & Karen Toste

As a family of four who live and work in Silicon Valley, life can move pretty fast. Between work meetings, school activities, Target runs, birthday parties, and other arbitrary errands, Karen and David started to feel like they were always en route to something and not really living in the moment. Last year, they decided it was time to slow down. Both Karen and David are second generation RVers who grew up traveling in Winnebagos when they were kids. They recalled great memories of family road trips and campsite adventures and wanted these same experiences for their children. In January 2016, they invested in their own Winnebago Vista and began their family adventures. While they are not full-time RVers, they are an example of how the RV lifestyle can be perfect for families who desire exploration and togetherness. You can follow their family’s adventures at thecampingplaylist.com.

Instead they bought a Winnebago Travato and have been on a quest to see the 48 continental U.S. states before resettling in the Pacific Northwest. It has been over 6 months since they left. Before trading in desk life for vanlife, Katharine was an architect in NYC and Humberto was an art director at a product design company in New Jersey. Together they used their design and photography skills to create www.adventuregunn.com where they document their adventures through America with their golden retriever Lucy, the real driver behind this road trip.

  • Kenny & Sabrina Phillips

    Kenny & Sabrina Phillips

Kenny and Sabrina are new to the RV life style. Sabrina is a traveling physician who works across the country at different hospitals. When she first took on this position she loved it, but there was only one problem, they would have to spend long periods of time apart. They needed a change in their lifestyle that would allow them to spend more time together. Kenny owned a small business in their hometown and they decided to sell the business so they could purchase and move into an RV. This now gives them the ability to travel together moving from state to state for Sabrina’s work. Kenny does freelance work from the road and has completed the NRVIA inspection course and plans on starting a mobile RV inspection business. You can follow along with their adventures on Youtube at www.youtube.com/c/MovingForward

Through their detour, Dan and Lindsay have grown more passionate about pursuing their dreams and leading a fulfilling life, while sharing their story in hopes of inspiring others to do the same. They love that RVing allows them to bring along their two dogs and be in nature as much as possible. You can usually find them on the river fly fishing, hiking to sunset spots, or at the local brewery.
