The biggest Winnebago party of the year is about to get even bigger! Registration is now open for the 50th Anniversary of the Winnebago Grand National Rally this summer in Forest City, IA, from July 22-27. From its inception in 1969, the event has changed locations, grown in size, offered more activities and modernized to include the latest and greatest Winnebago motorhome and towable products. But one thing has stayed the same … the camaraderie of fellow Winnebago RV product owners from all across North America.
GNR Entertains, Too!
This year, you’ll experience top-notch entertainment, engaging seminars, informative factory tours and more, along with 2,500 of your closest friends. Gather with new and old friends around the firepit, let your pups explore the new dog park, enjoy the new additional food options and bring the family along for fun activities throughout the week.
Arrive early and experience Puckerbrush Days in Forest City, the annual community celebration, the weekend before. The event officially kicks off on Monday, July 22, with the grand opening of the Winnebago Product Display, including a happy hour, Winnebago Welcome, and entertainment.
Vendors and seminars will open on Tuesday, July 23. An evening with Home Free is scheduled for Tuesday evening, and we’ll invite the community in to enjoy the all-vocal (a cappella) country music sensation. The band comes to town on the heels of their most recent full-length album release ‘TIMELESS,’ bringing with them new music and new humor every night. Home Free has become a household name, amassing more than 250 million YouTube views, and entertaining more than 350,000 people live in concert since bursting on the national scene in 2013.
Another highlight of the event, the annual Row Parties are set for Thursday, July 25, around the rally grounds. This is your night to get to know your ‘neighbors’ around the grounds. Many rows invite visitors to sample local fare which always becomes a popular treat for everyone around the rally grounds!
The rally wraps up Friday, July 26, with Chris Kroeze, runner-up on Season 15 of The Voice. Singer and songwriter Chris Kroeze connects with both the hearts and minds of audiences across various generations through his genuine country soul and his unique and alluring vocal delivery. A call from the producers of NBC’s Emmy Award Winning television show, The Voice, catapulted Kroeze onto the National Stage. Kroeze’s combination of vocal and guitar skills, along with his humility and small-town, country-boy nature, wowed audience’s week after week on The Voice.
